Chinaside is a community platform for discovering user-submitted fashion finds. We collect as little as we can get away with. This page explains exactly what that is.

What we collect

Account data. If you register, we store your handle, email address, and a hash of your password. Your handle and anything you post (fits, hauls, spreadsheets, comments) are public; your email is not.

Click tracking. When you follow an outbound link to a marketplace or agent, we log the click with a hashed IP address and coarse region. We use this to count clicks, pay creators, and detect abuse. We cannot reverse the hash back into your IP.

Cookies. We set a session cookie to keep you logged in, and — only if you consent — an optional analytics cookie so we can see which pages are useful. Declining analytics changes nothing about how the site works.

What we don't do

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to anyone. We do not run third-party ad trackers. We share data only when a law we are subject to requires it.

Your rights

You can request a copy of your data or ask us to delete your account and everything tied to it. Email contact@chinaside.gg from the address on your account and we'll handle it promptly.
